The industry is really picky about the shoes you wear while working in a kitchen. Texas Culinary Academy specifies what type are allowed, also. Here's a pic!

the shoes look cool. At the plant i used to work at we had to wear but a little bigger because we all had to wear steal toed boots. Have fun with the classes.

Man Carey, you're lucky. at least you get to wear shoes inside...
Cali is actually kind of cold. Some of the houses i have been to actually have heaters and no air conditioning units. Shocking. Everybody is so nice over here compared to Indiana. Anybody will strike up a conversation with you. So its a good culture shock. My first day of work is tomorow, so hopefully that goes good. It should only be filled with doing paperwork and watching dumb OSHA movies. Well gotta run. later
