I was looking through the many pictures we've saved in the "Marlow" folder on our computer tonight and found some really fun ones from when he was just a pup. He's still one of my favorite things ever and I can't get enough of him. I tell people that he's my first born and although I will love my human child in a much deeper way, Marlow is my first puppy ever and he stole my heart from the beginning. I don't think every person that has a dog loves their dog as much as some others do. For some, it is just a pet. For others, like myself, it's more than a companion. He's family. He taught me to love from a part of my heart I didn't know existed. I don't think I'm the only one like that either.

Furry kids are a special kind of blessing!
