Reading Through Proverbs

I honestly don't think I've ever read through the entire book of Proverbs. It has always thrown me, just like poetry classes in college. As much as I loved them, it was a challenge to figure out the underlying meanings on my own. Class discussions were the best part because you got to hear everyone else's thoughts and responses.

Chris and I are starting to read through Proverbs together, one chapter at a time. Last night was chapter one and it was so fun reading and discussing it together. Here are the two verses that we liked the most:

"Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it." (vs. 19)

"...the complacency of fools will destroy them..." (vs. 32)
