4th of July Weekend

Chris's parents came to town for the weekend. We celebrated the 4th by eating Indian food (www.claypit.com), watching fireworks at Auditorium Shores, and eating blueberry pie.

It was packed, but fun to be in the midst of the chaos. I saw a ton of people who had brought their dogs (bad, bad, bad), and we saw 2 beautiful doggies run off, leash attached, out of sheer terror of the fireworks. It was heartbreaking to see since we recently experienced the loss of our dog. I hope the owners find them!

Life After a Rope Swing

Pardon the noise in the background. That's the sound of the paint sprayer in the kitchen. Here's Marlow on a typical day with his rope in the backyard.

Growth

Our little garden is growing, too. Eggplant, jalapeños, parsley, thyme, rosemary, basil, cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, and bell peppers.

A challenge to it's growth, my hair got a new due today.
